The slender, sharp tip reduces puncture resistance as the needle penetrates the material, preventing needle and thread breakage. Highly compacted material is thus protected against wrinkling. Favorite Uses: Great for microfabrics, silk and lace. Perfect for Sulky Polyester Invisible threads and 60 wt. Polylite. Stronger, sharper and less likely to break under stress.
